Our lab is well equipped with highly advanced microscopes, for better results. Varieties of permanent slides are easily accessible to children.  Moreover, beautifully painted and well labelled diagrammatic representations of various specimens are present along with virtual images of specimen as per ICSE norms so that students can visualize and understand a specimen easily.

With all these facilities, our students have complete support by the teachers so that students are guided in right way and can excel in the field of their interest. Following the ICSE Curriculum, our lab provides the perfect environment to conduct all of experiments in all the domains. It has a provision of large no of experimental setups on different varieties of fields of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Biology Lab

The study of Biology provides students with opportunities to develop an understanding of our living world. Knowledge is based on experimental results and accurate observations, which are gained by variety of experiences. Thus, role of laboratory and filed learning becomes a key component in understanding biology. Besides all this we have a Biology Library in Laboratory which can update our students and enhance their knowledge about the discoveries going on. Our aim is to inspire students to explore questions about aspects of their everyday life and the natural world by cultivating a spirit of enquiry. The Biology Lab provides students with ample facilities to do so. For instance, they could stain their own micro-organisms and then observe them under our advanced microscopes.

Chemistry Lab

Loreto English School has a spacious and very well-ventilated Chemistry Lab. The work space is in the form of slabs with their individual connection of burner, sinks with taps, individual chemical and reagent racks. List of experiments along with working instructions/ precautions are well placed in the lab. We provide contextual learning and is very well-equipped. Ever mindful of the students' safety, the school supplies them with protective eye goggles, lab aprons and gloves. Smoke detectors are installed in the lab for safety.

Lab has fire alarms, fire extinguisher and a good medical aid in case of injuries and accidents.(emergency)

Physics Lab

To study and understand the dynamic of Physics subject, practical knowledge of the different phenomena is as important as the theoretical knowledge. Keeping this in mind, we maintain one of the most well-equipped Physics Lab which is a hub of modern scientific facilities, combined with the expertise and knowledge of our staff.

Computer Lab

The School recognises that today’s children are ‘growing up digital’ and that computer literacy is of vital importance in education. Computer education is therefore an integral part of the Saibaba Central School curriculum. The School sports two well-equipped ‘wired’ computer labs with current and emerging computer hardware, software and other relevant resources.

Such a computer lab facilitates in-depth learning. Students are introduced to basic computer components and its uses from Class I onwards. From Class III, students are introduced to, and work with, various software programmes.

Our computer courses focus on word-processing skills, spreadsheets and databases, developing multimedia projects and using the internet for research.
